The watertight adhesive holding the display in place is very strong; creating this initial gap takes a significant amount of force. Actually, in addition to the physical home button, Apple also provides an on-screen home button. It’s one hidden feature called Assistive Touch. When you find that the iPhone home button not working but you need to use it, you can turn on the Assistive Touch as a temporary solution.

Compared to iTunes or iCloud, this backup tool provides more flexible backup options. It allows you to back up what you really want instead of all the data, helping you save time and storage space. Click the download button to get it and backup your iPhone in a few clicks.
The AssistiveTouch feature on iPhone allows you to perform a wide variety of actions, without the need to use buttons or gestures. If the switch shows orange, it means your iPhone is in silent mode and will vibrate for incoming calls or alerts. When in silent mode, the alarms you set in the Clock app will still sound, and calls from Favorite contacts will still ring. Apple eliminated the Home button to accommodate larger screens without having to increase the size of the iPhone. Since there are multiple ways to access the Home screen, Apple decided that a physical button was superfluous.
